We can expect to see more augmented reality (AR) experiences in 2017, but also more brands taking advantage of AR paid advertising to engage their audiences.

The combination of faster internet speeds and the influx of mobile devices have paved the way for live video streaming to play a significant role in online marketing. We started to see live video streaming take off towards the end of 2016. The first presidential debate even got in on the action and was streamed live; this drew an audience in the millions. As we ring in the new year, we can expect 2017 will be the year of live streaming.

3. Native advertising will take an upward swing:

There’s nothing new about native advertising, which is disguised as online advertising that conforms to the platform upon which it appears. 5. Dense content that is easy to digest:

Consumers have extremely short attention spans, which means they don’t have time to sift through a lengthy article. The most successful online marketers in 2017 will produce dense content where every line and word counts.
